Prayer Pause At Noon

For the Lost

Prayer Pause At Noon for the lost

We extend a heartfelt invitation to every individual, family, community, and church staff to unite as the body of Christ in a powerful collective prayer for the lost at noon. Your participation is not just desired but crucial in this shared mission as we lean into our privilege and responsibility to be a bridge to those who are without the good news.WHAT TO DO:
Set a timer on your watch or phone to go off at noon every day. Commit to pause whatever you are doing and take a few minutes in intentional prayer. You can do this alone or as a group (i.e., family, church/work staff).
Invite the Lord to bring to mind those who do not know Him or have turned away (If you know many, consider starting with praying for 3-5 at a time).Spend a few minutes asking the Spirit to:

  1. Bring revelation of Jesus (John 16:13-15)

  2. Take them out of darkness and into His glorious light (Col. 1:13-14)

  3. Demolish lies and get truth in their innermost parts (Ps. 51:6-9)

  4. Bring people into their lives who can love and witness well to them (Matt. 9:38)

  5. Give them the gift of salvation (Eph. 2:8)

  6. Lead you in any other needed prayers for them (Rom. 8:26-28)

If you can, end with a moment of stillness before the Lord and listen to see if He wants to say anything to you personally. (Psalm 62:1, Isaiah 30:15)

Week of Unbroken Prayer

Intimacy ~ Awakening ~ Revival

Week of Unbroken Prayer

March 11th at 12:00 AM — March 17th at 11:59 PM

York County Prayer is one of 52 communities across the United States participating in a nationwide effort to cover all of 2024 in nonstop, night-and-day prayer. Each community is covering one of the 52 weeks to make a Year of Unbroken Prayer. York County has the week of March 11th-17th.We are calling ALL churches, communities, and believers to unite together in prayer for our area and to press into deeper intimacy with Jesus. All the revivals of history started with people in those cities calling out to God. We want our place on the map to respond too; the time is now!York County Prayer will be partnering with the Charlotte Prayer Room and curating special prayer spaces in Fort Mill, Rock Hill, and Charlotte for people to engage with God in tangible ways every hour--day and night--of this week in March. The sign-ups with details and locations for the week are below under "Sign Up for an Hourlong Prayer Slot." Come and be a part of a community-wide and nationwide initiative to draw closer to Jesus. People often find they want more than just one hour in these spaces. Lives change in these spaces. History is made in these spaces. We cannot wait.“Prayers outlive the lives of those who uttered them; outlive a generation, outlive an age, outlive a world.” – E.M Bounds

"UNTIL MIDNIGHT" Worship & Prayer Gathering

March 10th — 10:00 PM to Midnight

We will kick off our Week of Unbroken Prayer with a special, sweet night of corporate worship and prayer from 10 PM to Midnight at Lakeshore Christian Fellowship church in Tega Cay. Our prayer focus for the night: "Intimacy ~ Awakening ~ Revival." It all starts with the individual heart, and intimacy with Jesus. From that place, an awakening can happen within the Church. And when the Church fully awakens, revival can happen in the city. This gathering will be a chance for all participating churches, groups, and individuals to come together. We will get vision for our week, lean into intimate worship, experience the goodness of corporate prayer, and watch an artist do a live, inspired painting. We will also get a chance to hear from the community in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who will be finishing out their week of prayer right before us. They will share some highlights from their week in the prayer room, and "pass the baton" to our community by praying a blessing over us.Because of the late hour, there will be no childcare offered at this event. You are welcome to bring your kids if you want them to experience a late night worship & prayer session--they can also rest in the pews. Or, secure a sitter so you can fully engage without parental responsibilities.“Prayer is not overcoming God's reluctance, but laying hold of His willingness." - Martin Luther
